Thanks for coming back to see the rest of the list! Here is part two with my top 5 favourite images this year.
If you've read through my blog you have heard me mention Taha who is an extraordinarily talented photographer/all around artist. His ability to capture the world around him with his iPhone is mindblowingly inspirational. So much so that it inspired this image.
At the end of an eventful engagement session that saw torrential downpours and an inadvertently donated umbrella, Juan and Daniella ended up in front of this wonderful window. This was the last frame of our session and by far my favourite!
This wedding was so much fun to shoot, Jason and Melissa were so relaxed and into getting good images and the bridal party was a blast. This image speaks to me of the soft and gentle soul that Melissa is.
I shot this wedding with Ecstatic Photography Every time I look through the images from that day, I am drawn to this one. To me it speaks of deep contemplation and reflection. Getting to know Ira throughout the day, I am sure that there was a lot of thought being processed in this moment.
In April I spent two weeks in Uganda with Africa Arise. When I was there I met many amazing people, Vicky is a recipient of a micro loan through ILA Uganda, who is a partner of Africa Arise. This image was taken in front of Vicky's business. When I look at this image I see a woman who has found dignity and is brimming with pride.
